Update on Organisational and Strategic Role Changes at AHI and Tokio Marine

Expanding AHI's Broker Alignment Strategy

As you will have come to expect from AHI, we never rest on laurels! Recently, our CEO Jim Glossat announced the next stage in the AHI and Tokio Marine journey. These changes will have a positive impact on our Broker partners as we enter the new financial year.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing broker engagement and driving both our Broker and the AHI/Tokio Marine businesses forward, I am pleased to inform you I aim to further increase our focus on our business partners.

To this end, we have created a new position, Head of Sales and Distribution Partnerships, which will directly report to me as the CEO. This role will bring me closer than ever to our business and brokers, allowing us to strengthen our relationships and better serve market needs.

As a result, our Executive General Manager, Steve Ord, will be leaving the organisation to pursue other opportunities. We are thankful to Steve for his contributions to AHI and Tokio Marine, and wish him all the best.”

The next evolution of AHI's Sales and Distribution approach will see our business better equipped to service brokers and clients, with streamlined processes and greater consistency.

AHI remains stable across all key operational and financial aspects, togther with maintaining a high-performing and talented team, dedicated to serving our customer needs. With 25 years of experience in the market, the implementation of this flattened structure across our Tokio Marine businesses represents the next phase of our journey. 

We are proud to report that AHI is in a solid position in the market, having achieved our best financial results ever in 2022 and during the first half of 2023. Additionally, both our Broker and Employee Net Promoter Scores are at their highest levels since before the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also witnessing the positive outcomes of the strategic work carried out by our Leadership Team, executed by the broader team, which has seen us return to sustainable profitability across our key business lines.

In terms of the new role, we are in the process of identifying the ideal candidate. And we will make announcements here shortly.
